Hi! I'm Joella.

I'm a part time photographer, full time wife + mom of two amazing kids. I was raised in a small midwest town for most of my life, and recently relocated to Abilene, Texas. My creative style mostly consists of outdoor settings, warmer tones, candid mixed with guided poses, and using natural light to capture the subtle details.

I know the importance of keeping the memory alive, especially when you have young kids. My love for photography began at a young age, but amplified when I became a mom.

I had one of the best experiences taking pictures with Joella! She was patient with my two small children, and with all my crazy ideas for different spots and poses. It was a very uplifting experience. She made all of us feel comfortable, and we had fun in the process! She was very good at directing us in what we should do.
